Evropska komisija je zaustavila isplate Srbiji iz Plana rasta zbog ponovnog nazadovanja u pravosuđu. To nije prazna diplomatska poruka. To znači manje novca za puteve, železnicu, energetiku, škole, bolnice, lokalne projekte, digitalizaciju, radna mesta i razvoj. To znači da će Srbija umesto jeftinog evropskog novca morati skuplje da se zadužuje. To znači veći pritisak na budžet. To znači nestanak kvalitetnih investicija.

Radnici su danas ugroženi ne samo nesigurnim i potplaćenim radom, lošim uslovima i zaštitom, već i time što im se osporava pravo da slobodno misle, govore i sindikalno i politički deluju u zaštiti svojih radnih i građanskih prava. Podrška studentima, građanskim protestima ili opozicionim aktivnostima za mnoge znači rizik od pritiska, šikaniranja i gubitka posla.
