Police brutality against students in Novi Sad is an attack on all citizens of Serbia. Every violation of students’ rights is an assault on freedom, equality, and the rule of law.

The Citizens’ Movement Solidarity will always stand with those who fight for these values and will defend them by all legally permissible means.

To the Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad, the Minister of the Interior, the President of the National Assembly, and to all those who remained silent today or issued the orders, we say: You do not owe your positions to your privileges. You bear responsibility to the citizens of Serbia.

Any further violation of the rights of students and citizens will not go unpunished—you will face the consequences under the law.

We will not give in. We will not forget. We will not forgive.
