Vučić's Crying Over the Constitution at the United Nations

While Aleksandar Vučić accuses his own people at the United Nations of destroying the constitutional order, in Zaječar his thugs are beating up opposition councilors. This is the true picture of his government: a lie and a show for the world, violence and intimidation at home.

This is a system of survival in power that Vučić personally maintains and encourages. For the regime that sends thugs to councilors, the fist is a substitute for law, and violence is the only "institution" that functions. Every blow in Zaječar is a blow to democracy in all of Serbia.

Direct responsibility for this violence lies with Aleksandar Vučić. He is not a defender of the constitution, but its greatest destroyer. Therefore, we express full solidarity with the attacked councilors and say: Serbia without Vučić will be a country without violence. Free, solidary and dignified people do not need it to rebuild the state together.
