The court has fulfilled Vučić’s announcement

By today’s decision of the Pre-Trial Chamber of the Higher Court in Novi Sad, the status of the SNS has been confirmed as an organized group operating outside and above justice and the law. By suspending the proceedings against Vesić and the other suspects in the collapse of the railway station canopy in Novi Sad on November 1, the court has carried out in practice what Aleksandar Vučić announced already in the first week after the Novi Sad crime.

The lives lost beneath the canopy have today been trampled for the second time by a decision made on the order of the one who, in this system, is the sole arbiter of verdicts and who knows that the loyalty of the SNS depends on ensuring impunity even for the most obvious atrocities.

We remind all those who are complicit in the dismantling of the legal order that the longer justice is delayed, the more relentless it becomes.
