NIS and Vučić against the citizens of Serbia

What should the ministries of the Government of Serbia — the political wing of a criminal group under Vučić’s command — have done, instead of bringing the country to a point where we are all exposed to Russian roulette?
They should have, in accordance with the obligations arising from Article 97 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, and after Gazprom Neft was placed on OFAC’s sanctions list, adopted the Law on Energy Security, which would have provided the legal basis for the state to take compulsory management over companies involved in the production, processing, distribution, and trade of energy resources in the event of a strategic threat to the citizens and economic system of Serbia.
They should have taken an active role in negotiations with OFAC, instead of leaving the fate of the citizens of Serbia in the hands of lawyers representing Russian Gazprom.
They should have had all scenarios prepared in advance and launched negotiations on gas arrangements, and in May 2025, when the Russian side refused to sign a long-term supply contract, they should have initiated concrete measures to ensure the security of the gas sector.
By taking these steps, they should have demonstrated to all sides that Serbia is ready to defend its own interests, instead of submitting to the whims of the Kremlin, for whom NIS is currently merely a tool in geostrategic influence games.
When the supply of crude oil to NIS through JANAF was halted, they should have enforced the law mentioned in point number 1, removed the Russian majority owner from power, obtained a license from OFAC, and “helped” Gazprom decide to sell its stake.
Because they endangered the basic needs of our citizens, they should have imposed sanctions on Russia in alignment with the sanctions introduced by other European countries.
By doing the exact opposite of what a responsible government would have done, Vučić and his organized criminal group have committed an act of unconstitutional conduct that could place Serbia and its citizens into a state of severe vulnerability.
Resignation! Criminal responsibility! Lustration!
