Regarding the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation dated August 15, 2025
The Solidarity civil movement rejects the views of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. A country that is not democratic, in which there is no free opposition and independent media, has no moral right or credibility to share lessons with others, including Serbia.
By replacing theses, the victims of violence are called bullies, and the government that sponsors the party beaters presents itself as the defender of law and order. Thus, Moscow, instead of standing with the people, supports the regime in Belgrade that systematically stifles democracy and produces political violence.
Serbia is located in Europe and its only state policy must be membership in the European Union. It is the concept of the future, Serbia as a democratic, European country, not as a copy of the Russian totalitarian model.
The citizens of Serbia will decide their own future. We take care of our sovereignty and we know what kind of country we want - a free, democratic and European Serbia. With the fabricated claim of a "colored revolution", Aleksandar Vučić is trying to discredit civil protests and justify violence against his own people.
The Solidarity civil movement remains on the side of the attacked, not on the side of those who attack them.
