Another sickening performance by Aleksandar Vučić

The organised rampage of the Progressive Party as an insult to a grieving mother, the scattering of flowers bearing the names of those killed in Bački Petrovac, the orchestrated violence and the arrest of citizens—all of this is part of the grotesque spectacle with which the regime is trying to cover up its defeat at every step.
Is the reason for this hysteria panic caused by the international cancellations that began in Sweden, a devastating report by the European Commission, or simply the realisation that genuine support among citizens no longer exists?
This government is no longer even pretending to be political in nature—it is a bare criminal structure that survives on repression, intimidation, and the abuse of institutions. It continues to simulate normality by passing illegal laws, desperately trying to cling to at least one of its supporters now that all four of its pillars have collapsed.
And the truth is simple:
The government fell on November 1 in Novi Sad.
The citizens then showed the entire world that they were not violent, but just. Let them not be afraid. Let this country still bear witness to humanity and dignity.
We call on the public, students, the pro-European opposition, trade unions, and the academic and artistic communities to refuse to be part of this manipulation. Let us overcome artificial divisions and bring this struggle to a peaceful conclusion.
Look at him closely—he is fighting a grieving mother whose son he helped kill, directing all his strength against one woman, against the natural order, against the right to life and to mourning when it has been so cruelly taken away. He is fighting against reason itself. He is also fighting imaginary snipers in a tragicomic farce with which he is trying to cling to the power that has already slipped from his hands. All decent people feel shame that we must fight such a low and unworthy opponent, but we know all too well that we must.
