Ana, you are not credible

Ana Brnabić, whose role is to publicly say what Vučić himself is not allowed to say, is mocking the European Parliament resolution in an attempt to conceal the truth about the complete loss of credibility of the Vučić regime within European institutions.

The European Parliament does not need to prove its credibility to Ana Brnabić. The regime she belongs to—one that has permanently discredited itself both among its own citizens and among all of Serbia’s external partners—does.

By belittling the European Parliament in a tavern-like manner, emboldening the remnants of Vučić’s support, Brnabić is trying to obscure the fact that her “boss” is currently seeking mercy from the very people she speaks of with contempt.

Serbia’s strategic goal is European Union membership—but not in the way imagined by an incompetent radical regime. Geographically, historically, economically, and culturally, Serbia belongs to Europe. It can be led toward that goal only by sincere pro-European political forces that associate Europe with democracy, justice, the pursuit of the best solutions for all citizens, and the readiness to gather the most professional, most committed, and most capable people to guide Serbia out of radicalism and into a community of civilized and prosperous states.
